Coronavirus how to work from home is now becoming an obvious choice as it does seem this is not going away anytime soon. In these challenging times when people are being asked to stay at home in quarantine, this is an ideal time to take full advantage and learn new skills.
I feel very fortunate as I chose the option to be a self-employed entrepreneur and work online many years ago. I am not saying this to gloat as what I can assure of it has NOT been without its challenges. However, on reflection, I have to declare it was one of the best decisions of my life and it can be for you too.
With regard to the Coronavirus or any crisis situation a large percentage of people are happy to glue themselves to the TV and watch the news all day long. Latest reports that in the UK we have people rushing to the superstores and panic buying. Leaving no food left for front line workers, for example, NHS workers who dedicate their lives to helping people.
It never ceases to amaze me how selfish people can be when they act in this way. If the truth be known where would we be without our front like workers?
Whereas others who are definitely in the minority who will spend their time in quarantine thinking of helping people looking for solutions to see the positive side of this situation and there always is.
Time is it the most valuable asset we have at our fingertips and to manage it is essential in these troubled times. Which reminds me of a book I read some time ago called “Eat That Frog” this book shows you step by step how you can zero in on those critical tasks and accomplish them on a daily basis.
If you are in quarantine as most people are this is a great time to do all the things under normal circumstances you unable to fit into your schedule. If history tells us anything there are always positives and negatives in almost every situation. Some people look for positives and find a way to gain from them whereas others only respond to the negatives.
For example in 1928 was the Wall Street crash but Jesse Livermore made a cool 100 Million dollars as a trader from what most people believed to be the end of the financial world. In 2008, we experienced a world banking meltdown. However top investors like John Paulson he made his self 3.7 Billion in 2007 and another 2 billion in 2008.
I understand we can’t all be Jesse Livermore’s or John Paulson’s but the point is this could be the ideal time to create a second or even a third stream of income. At the time of creating this post, we are now in the early part of 2020 and there has never been a more opportune time to look for alternatives and explore the options of working from home online.
We are so fortunate today to have access to so much information, opportunities, online. It’s easy to take all this for granted when everything is going well pre coronavirus.
As you have probably gathered by now I am crazy about blogging and this is a great place to start if you like writing and sharing information that can benefit people in some way or another. The secret to creating an income online is to look for solutions to people’s problems.
If you help enough people to get what they want then you will get what you want in return. I am a strong believer what goes around comes around. To be honest, Blogging is just one of the ways to create an income online and it’s a long term strategy it takes time.
But during this coronavirus crises, there are going to be no shortage of people that have time on their hands. They can choose to use time wisely learn new skills or sit around and watch TV and waste their lives away. I like to focus on multiple streams of income and blogging is just one of the ways get started more on that later.
There are an extraordinary amount of options which can be confusing if you are new but what am going to share with you is not hype but how to build an online business on solid ground with a website that is without a doubt a great starting point. This may sound complicated and you would be right if we turned back the clock 10 years.
People needed special skills, for example, HTML, Java, or hire a website developer etc… but not anymore with the innovation of WordPress sites. Nowadays it’s really easy and can be achieved in less than 5 minutes.
We all have information to share in one form or another. Why not start blogging? Trust me its fun and very rewarding knowing full well that you are helping people. The awesome part is it is not going to cost you anything to start and you get 2 FREE websites forever plus 10 free lessons to point you in the right direction.
However, this is not for everybody maybe you don’t want to go down that road as it is a long term strategy and it can take anything from 6 months to 10 years to create a successful blog that creates enough traffic to make a full-time income from.
If writing is something that inspires you and looking to make instant cash then it is not necessary to have a website you can become a freelance writer. For example, writingtowealth.com are desperate they have more writing jobs than they can fill at the time of writing this blog post.
Personally I love writing but I prefer to do for myself and build my blog this as I mentioned above a much more long term project. I started to do it part-time at first but now it is one of the many things I do to create an income online.
The secret to creating an online income is to broaden your horizons and have more than one stream of income. Affiliate marketing is an industry that I have been involved with for many years. I have created another post if you are not sure how this works check it out here
I am always looking out for new ways to add to my multiple streams of income and I am excited to share a platform which is still in the early stages of development called Unbox. At this time of creating this post, it is free to join once inside this is like opening pandora’s box.
